LIFT: Pelvic Floor + Core Series 1
This 30 minute intro mat class is designed to enhance optimal awareness of the body and pelvic floor system using intentional movement. Using common barre and yoga inspired exercises, each sequence will teach the participant how to move intuitively within their own body based on feeling alone. Music is set to methodical tempos that allow the focus to shift into the breathing and transition of each exercise while using pelvic floor integration.
Note: This class is especially safe for women during pregnancy and postpartum
(yes even years later!) as we specifically focus on strengthening the core from conditions such as diastasis-recti, incontinence and prolapse symptoms.
We recommend taking this class 2-3 times per week to help improve strength of the pelvic floor and entire body.
