Kayla emphasizes the importance of body awareness and functional fitness in both a relatable and informative way, making for a class that is both educational and fun. She is the co-creator of The Mind Body Barre Method® with her sister, Angela.

What three things would someone find in your purse besides your license? A stone, gum, and a never ending supply of bobby pins…
What would your dream house be like? My dream house would be located in a quiet and peaceful area, have lots of natural light, and a lovely yard for yoga practice and meditation.
What are you most proud of? My dedication to following my intuition, often perceived as an unusual approach or wrong turn for others, has always lead me down the path that is right for me and my happiness.
What is one tip you would share with someone who wants to create a life of wishes fulfilled? Stay curious and follow the little nudges or “bread crumbs” along the path, sometimes it doesn’t happen all at once.
If you were to write a children’s book, what would the moral of the story be? To practice loving kindness and compassion
Where will you be in 10 Years? I hope to be healthy and happy surrounded by friends and family.
What is your best health secret? A dedicated meditation practice
How do you deal with energy that no longer serves you? I ACT: 1. Acknowledge it, 2. Consider the root cause, (mental/physical/spiritual) 3. Take steps towards releasing it through way of conversation, meditation, exercise, inner-self talk/work, etc.
What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you? I was chased by a wild turkey in a grocery store parking lot. At the time, it was absolutely horrifying and I was convinced I was going to die. Now, it's my go-to party story…
What is the number one thing on your bucket list? I'd say it’s a tie between meeting Ellen Degeneres and singing with Pink! I hear they are good friends so let's make it happen!
