Three words that best describe me: Creative, energetic, optimistic
Three things you'd find in my bag: Lots of gift cards, snacks and bobby pins
I'm most proud of: Kai + Mae: 2 fun-loving, enthusiastic, entertaining and sweet kids!
One tip I'd share with someone who wants to create a life of wishes fulfilled: “Self-confidence is the best outfit, rock it and own it”
If I wrote a children’s book the moral of the story would be: Laugh (a lot)! Laughter is so powerful in that it is contagious in such a positive way and when it is shared, it connects people and spreads happiness.
In ten years I'll be... Continuing to do the things that I love – traveling + going on adventures with my family, being creative and positively impacting others.
My best kept health secret: Eat a lot of fruit - it’s like healthy candy! Challenge yourself - find new ways push yourself out of your comfort
How I deal with what no longer serves me: Focus on the positive and don’t dwell on the things that you can’t control.
The music you'll hear if you take my class: A variety of remixes + artists typically in the rotation include Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Campsite Dream, Flo Rida and Rihanna
The funniest thing that has ever happened to me: My husband Ty and I were getting take out from a local Thai restaurant. Since my name can be challenging for people to spell and pronounce, I always call-in take-out orders under “Ty.” When we both went in to pick-up our order, my husband told the waitress that we were picking-up an order for Ty. She quickly looked at me and asked if I was Ty and I responded “No, he’s Ty.” She looked at me unconvinced, as if I were lying, and said “No way!” that he wasn’t actually Ty and I was. This back and forth went on for a solid couple minutes and I finally told her that she could look at my Credit Card so I could prove that my name is Anh-Dao and not Ty. After some awkward silence and continued confusion, it finally clicked that she was actually asking if I was “Thai.” Hahaaaa.
The number one thing on my bucket list: Get a hole in one in golf
